Development of a TDS measurement system. Application to acoustic propagation measurement in a non anechoic environment
Abstract
The development of a Time Delay Spectrometry (TDS) system which enables separation, in one point of measure, of different acoustic paths coming from a point source is described. This method was developed with the aim of analyzing acoustic propagation test in a non-anechoic wind tunnel. This method was validated successfully by measurements performed in anechoic chambers, where several acoustic paths were realized using a reflecting panel. It could be used to make acoustic measurements in nonanechoic surroundings.
