Calculation study of the pumping of a gas medium by charged particles which are products of nuclear reactions
Abstract
The pumping process of a reactor-laser is investigated theoretically. The energy input of U fission products into the laser medium is determined along with the spatial distribution of the energy input and the time profile of the pumping power. A model for calculating the propagation of uranium fission products is described which is realized in the framework of the PRISM program system using the Monte Carlo method.
