A study of vortex dynamics in high-temperature superconductor films
Abstract
Harmonic generation by a superconducting film in a sinusoidal magnetic field of 10 kHz was investigated as part of a study of viscous vortex flow in high-temperature superconductor films. The experimental data are described in the hydrodynamic approximation by calculating vortex distribution over the film in an external variable magnetic field. It is shown that the field dependence of the third harmonic makes it possible to determine the viscous friction coefficient and pinning force in the superconductor.
