The convective heat transfer problem for a thin plate
Abstract
Laminar flow past a semiinfinite plate is investigated analytically with allowance for convective heat transfer on the plate surface. In the stationary case, the temperature of the face surface is represented in quadratures. The temperature distribution is investigated as a function of the flow velocity and other process parameters.
