Propagation of a beam of relativistic electrons through the plasma of extragalactic jets in gas-dynamical approximation.
Abstract
A set of gas-dynamical equations for electrons and plasma oscillations has been obtained for the problem of propagation of a relativistic electron beam through the plasma of an extragalactic jet. An automodel solution of this set has been found: It is a beam-plasma structure which moves with constant velocity.
