Development of laser excited atomic fluorescence and ionization methods
Abstract
Progress made during the period of 1 May 1988 to 31 Dec. 1991 is reported. The topics discussed include the following: (1) theoretical considerations of the ultimate detection powers of laser fluorescence and laser ionization methods; (2) experimental evaluation of laser excited atomic fluorescence; (3) fundamental studies of atomic and molecular parameters in flames and plasmas; and (4) other studies.
