Calculation of the geometrical-optic fields of reflector antennas on aperture grids of a given structure
Abstract
An effective methods for calculating the geometrical-optic fields of reflector antennas on aperture grids of arbitrary structure is presented which makes it possible to eliminate intermediate calculations associated with the grid transformations of two-dimensional files. By implementing the algorithm on a personal computer, it was possible to calculate a rectangular grid of aperture-field samples of parabolic and spherical antennas with a horn feed.
