Investigation of the ergodicity of multimode short-wave signals in the ionosphere
Abstract
A stochastic interference model of short-wave signals (e.g., in the ionosphere) is considered which has the form of a stationary random process that is independent of the number of modes m. In this model, the single-mode and two-mode signals are shown to be ergodic with respect to the mathematical expectation, and the autocorrelation and characteristic functions.
