Application of the theory of random-field offshoots to the calculation of the radiation from a rough surface in quasi-static approximation
Abstract
A phenomenological model for calculating the electrodynamic and emission characteristics of a small-scale statistically rough surface is proposed and implemented. Elements of the random-field offshoot theory are used, which makes it possible to readily find effective parameters of the transitional layer from prescribed parameters of the random surface. Consideration is given to a numerical example which illustrates the main dependences of emission from a Gaussian surface with a broad spectrum of irregularities.
