2D gravity with c=1 matter
Abstract
We study the constraint problem for two-dimensional quantum gravity in conformal gauge. We consider the Liouville theory coupled to a c=1 free boson with arbitrary momentum. Following our earlier work, we use a suitable class of free field representations as an ansatz for the gravitational sector. It is shown that for generic momentum of the free boson, there is a unique physical state. For special momentum values, there are infinitely many states.
