Weak solitons and the effective scale of a twoHiggs model
Abstract
We investigate the strongly interacting Higgs sector of the standard electroweak model with two Higgs doublets. We find out that if the Higgs mass is less than the effective cutoff scale where the unitarity is violated, there exist particlelike solitonic solutions for the classical equations of motion which may be very massive. We have derived an upper bound for the cutoff scale of the theory in terms of the Higgs mass.
