Dielectric permittivity of IV-VI compounds in the radio frequency range
Abstract
The objective of the study was to investigate the possibility of using the immersion method for determining the dielectric permittivity of materials with high resistivity (greater than 0.0001/ohm m) and permittivity (greater than 80). In particular, the materials investigated were lead and tin chalcogenides. Details of the analytical procedure are presented, and it is shown that the permittivities determined by this method are in good agreement with the values obtained by other methods.
