Measuring the volume of the superconducting phase of hightemperature superconductors by the highfrequency method
Abstract
A highfrequency method for measuring the volume of the superconducting phase in hightemperature superconductors is demonstrated for specimens containing various amounts of the superconducting phase Y(123). In particular, it is shown that there exists a linear relation between the volume of the superconducting material in a compact specimen and the diamagnetic shift of the resonance frequency. The specimen preparation procedure is briefly described.
