Phase equilibriums in the system MnTe-HgTe-Te
Abstract
A liquid-phase epitaxy process for depositing Mn(y)Hg(1-y)Te on CdTe substrates from MnTe-HgTe-Te melts was investigated experimentally. Phase equilibriums in the system are determined using the method of fully associated solutions (FAS). The FAS model provides a quantitative description of the meltability diagram of MnTe-HgTe-Te, but additional experimental data are required to verify the validity of the model.
