A new analysis of data on the particle number spectrum of extensive air showers obtained at the Moscow State University station
Abstract
The differential spectrum of extensive air showers in terms of particle number was obtained over a wide range of N (number of particles) using results of observations conducted at the Moscow State University. The spectrum is described by a modified version of the spatial distribution function of charged particles. The spectrum has a bend in the region N = 400,000, followed by a steeper increase.
