A method for recording MHD waves in the ionosphere on the basis of ground data
Abstract
A method for processing simultaneous geomagnetic and ionospheric variations is proposed. The proposed method was verified on Pi2 pulsations and the Doppler sounding of the F-layer. It is shown that surface Pi2 pulsations with an intensity of 2 nTl at ionospheric levels correspond to disturbances of the transverse electric field of 1.5 mV/m.
