Optical method for detecting biphase coded signals
Abstract
A simple optical technique for detecting biphase coded signals using an acoustooptic cell is presented. It is shown that the response of the system agrees well with predicted results. The system described operates at frequencies around 50 MHz but acoustooptic cells with bandwidths of the order of 1 GHz are available.
