Design and operation of a post-1989 Intelsat TTC&M earth station
Abstract
The U.S. has designed and implemented tracking, telemetry, command, and monitoring (TTC&M) in its function as signatory of Intelsat's post-1989 TTC&M Network. After giving an account of two of the new special-purpose complexes, attention is given to the approach used in the Intelsat VI TTC&M earth station operation regime, by contrast with those of Comsat. A review is conducted of operations that are characteristic of Intelsat V/V-A and VI spacecraft.
