Novae in M31 Discovered with Wide Field Telescopes in Crimea and Latvia
Abstract
Data on 21 novae in M31 discovered from 1969 to 1989 with wide field telescopes at the Crimean Station of the Sternberg Astronomical Institute and at the Radioastrophysical Observatory in Baldone near Riga, Latvia, are presented. Novae in the disk of M31 are encountered up to 20 kpc and larger distances from its center. Light curves of the discovered novae exhibit a large variety of forms.
