Abstract
The equation of transfer for interlocked multiplets has been solved by the method of discrete ordinates, originally due to Chandrasekhar, considering nonlinear form of the Planck function to be <MediaObject> <ImageObject FileRef="10509_2004_Article_BF00647118_TeX2GIFE1.gif" Format="GIF" Color="BlackWhite" Type="Linedraw" Rendition="HTML"/> </MediaObject> B_{text{v}} (T) = b_0 + b_1 e^{  β tau } .
