Preliminary study of the homogeneity of the density and temperature of long plasmas used for X laser studies
Abstract
Experimental tests of the homogeneity of long plasmas are described. The X-UV fluxes are evaluated using a charged coupled device with pinhole to detect the photons from an aluminum plasma. Although the results are preliminary, it appears that the plasma emission is not homogeneous along its axis
