Phase transitions in the dual lattice in Potts model
Abstract
A system of topological linear exitations is produced in the dual cubic lattice of a three state Potts model in three dimensional dimensions. The orderdisorder phase transitions are discussed by means of geometrical vortexline quantities for pure ferromagnetic and mixed ferromagneticantiferromagnetic spin interactions. Monte Carlo simulations are applied to calculate Potts dynamical spin configurations. A heath bath algorithm is employed to update 8 parallelized lattices storing the set of 8 spins in a single bit word. The ParisiRapuano random number generator is used.
