A numerical-analytical method for solving plane elasticity problems for an anisotropic body in the presence of stress concentrations
Abstract
A numerical-analytical method for solving plane elasticity problems for anisotropic bodies is proposed whereby the boundary conditions are relaxed and the solution is sought in the form of a linear combination of approximation functions satisfying the equations of the problem. Calculation results are presented for four types of problems involving orthotropic rectangular plates weakened by circular holes and loaded in different directions. The maximum error in boundary conditions does not exceed 1 percent of the nominal values.
