Neural network based process optimization and control
Abstract
The authors present, compare, and contrast several neurocontrol systems for controlling and optimizing the manufacture of thermoplastic composite structures. Attention is given to direct-inverse neurocontrol for manufacturing and adaptive-critic-based manufacturing neurocontrol. In particular, adaptive critic neurocontrol systems that are capable of online learning and process optimization have been demonstrated in simulation.
