Non-unique solution of inviscid flow in two dimensional nozzles
Abstract
Compressible flows with shocks in two-dimensional nozzles were simulated based on steady Euler equations. Three different types of nonunique solutions for inviscid two-dimensional flows were calculated, and a time-dependent code was developed to study the stability of these solutions. In addition, supersonic internal flows over a symmetric airfoil in the middle of a duct were simulated and solutions with a substantial lift were obtained.
