System alternatives for advanced launch capability
Abstract
The advanced launch capability (ALC) is defined, and some system criteria are examined. In particular, attention is given to launch responsiveness, commonality of flight modules, system flexibility, and production and operations costs. The concept of the Total Quality approach adopted for the ALS program is discussed.
