Structural properties of solutions for the equation of gravitationalgyroscopic waves and an explicit solution for a problem of stratified rotating fluid dynamic
Abstract
The structural characteristics of solutions for a twodimensional equation of gravitationalgyroscopic waves are investigated analytically. Based on the results obtained, an explicit solution is derived for the problem of the excitation, due to the motion of a straight line, of oscillations in a stratified rotating fluid filling the upper halfplane.
