The U-light flickering amplitude and changes of the hot component luminosity during the 1977 - 1987 outburst were analysed. The observations show that the luminosity consists of two components: accretion (Lacc), yields the bi-stable transition between inactive, low and high active phases, and dissipation of rotational energy of the white dwarf (Lrot) by interaction of the magnetic field with accreting matter. During three nights in 1986 and in 1989 periodic variations with a period of 500 sec were found. These results confirm the three-step accretion "accretorpropeller" model given by Mikolajewski and Mikolajewska (1988).
