Proceedings of the Seminar on Investigation and Control of Boundary-Layer Transition
Abstract
This report is a proceeding of 22 lectures presented at the study meeting on the Investigation and Control of Boundary-Layer Transition held four times from September 1987 to February 1989. It contains reports on the analysis of transition mechanism, three-dimensional boundary-layer transition, transition control, and other topics. This group consists of researchers participating in applications research for fundamental studies on boundary layer transition, with the aim of exchanging their opinions and discussing them thoroughly. Recently, lectures and discussions have been ranging over more subjects including not only transition problems but also analysis of turbulence flows and control methods to reduce viscous resistance.
