a Search for the Standard Model Neutral Higgs Boson in the H-Positron and H-Positive Muon-Negative Muon Channels in Neutral Boson Decays
Abstract
A search for the Standard Model neutral Higgs boson has been performed using the ALEPH detector at LEP with the channels e^+ e^- to Z^0 to He^+ e^-, and e^+ e^- to Z^0 to Hmu^+ mu^-. Combining these channels, and using 8.2 ph^{ -1} of integrated luminosity, corresponding to 181,000 hadronic Z decays, the Higgs boson has been excluded in the mass range between 2 and 33.4 GeV at 95% CL, and between 2 and 36.1 GeV at 90% CL.
