Inclusive and Exclusive Decays of B Mesons to Charmed Vector Mesons.

I have studied the production of D^ {*+} mesons in decays of B Mesons from the Upsilon(4S) resonance using data collected by the CLEO detector at the CESR storage ring. I have obtained improved measurements of the branching ratios for the exclusive decay modes B^0 to D^{*+} pi^{-}, B^ {-} to D ^{*+}pi^{-}pi ^{-}, and B^0 to D^{*+} pi^{-}pi^{+} ^{-}, and present the first observation of the decay B^0 to D^{*+}alpha_sp {1}{-}. I compare the measured branching ratios with theoretical predictions made within the framework of the Standard Model. I also report improved measurements of the branching ratios for the inclusive decays of B mesons to final states including a D ^{*+} meson.
