Generation of high-power microwave emission during the summation of radio signals at the output of resonance drivers
Abstract
A study has been made of a scheme for the excitation of two resonance drivers using a three-decibel waveguide bridge and for the summation of output nanosecond microwave pulses as part of a common load. The possibility of the synchronous operation of nanosecond microwave pulse shapers and output emission summation with an increase in peak power is demonstrated experimentally. The minimal width of the summed waves is determined by the time scatter between the pulses and may be of the order of several nanoseconds.
