Effect of a strong electric field on high-temperature superconductivity
Abstract
The paper presents an investigation of the influence of a high-strength electric field on a superconducting transition detected according to the temperature dependence of diamagnetic susceptibility for a number of Y-Ba-Cu-O ceramics. A novel spark-discharge-based technique is proposed which can be used to vary the Tc of classical HTSC compounds in a wide range.
