Quantum-interference resonance photocurrent in the case of transitions between free-electron states
Abstract
It is shown that the quantum-interference resonance photocurrent effect can occur not only in the case of transitions between bound electron states but also in the case of free-electron transitions. This indicates that this effect has a fundamental character. A qualitative theory of the phenomenon is developed, and comparison is made with experiment. The investigation was carried out using n-InSb in the region of optical transitions with spin flip.
