Mapping Luna Incognita.
Abstract
Lunar Incognita is the portion of the Moon, near the south and southwest limbs, that was poorly photographed by the space missions of the 1960's and which thus remained inadequately mapped. This report describes the A.L.P.O. Lunar Section project that studied this region between 1972 and 1990.
