Fine structure of high-latitude sporadic E layers
Abstract
Measurements of the fine structure of high-latitude sporadic E layers were performed on the Moscow-Lovozero path from November to December 1988. Two structures of the nighttime Es layers were identified. The first is characterized by the presence of a specular component with diffuse 'impregnations'. The second is characterized by extremely diffuse reflections with a bandwidth up to 20 Hz.
