Analytic relation for the HolsteinBohlen pressure gradient parameter
Abstract
A method is presently devised for the use of the classic integral boundary layer method of Holstein and Bohlen in computer codes which obviates the table lookup operations of its original, handcalculated form by means of the function Lambda(K). The root finder is an additional timeconsuming operation which can be eliminated if one of the requisite equations can be inverted to obtain Lambda(K) explicitly.
