The Arcetri atlas of H2O maser sources.
Abstract
Results are reported from a 22.2-GHz H2O line survey of all the known maser sources north of -30 deg. Of the 509 sources observed, 203 were detected with an average detection limit of 9 Jy. The data are presented in an atlas and a table form and are intended to constitute an homogeneous reference data base for further study of the source variability. A brief description of the instrumentation is given. Comparison of the present results with those given in the literature indicates that most of the masers vary, with only 20 percent of the sources remaining constant, within the observational uncertainty.
