IRAS observations of the Rosette nebula complex.
Abstract
A detailed study of the infrared radiation associated with the Rosette nebula complex has been conducted using the IRAS data. The results of the study suggest that most of the infrared sources detected by IRAS which are embedded in the Rosette molecular cloud are associated with dense molecular clumps. The luminosities of these sources cover the range 100-12,000 solar luminosities, corresponding to B1-B4 stellar types.
