Operator algebra from fusion rules: The infinite number of Ising theories
Abstract
A technique for using the fusion rules of a conformal field theory to derive differential equations for the four point functions of the theory is described. The use of these equations in determining the operator product coefficients for primary fields is outlined. The results are applied to the Ising fusion rules. A set of theories possessing these fusion rules is described. The set is labelled by two discrete parameters. For a specific value of one of the parameters, it is shown that they represent an infinite number of inequivalent theories. This is the case for the level one spin WessZuminoWitten theories.
