Convergence and unicity in the iterative approach to gravitation
Abstract
Consideration is given to the iterative approach to gravity, starting in a pseudoEuclidean spacetime in which the field is described by a tensor potential. Emphasis is placed on the unicity of the approach, since the energy momentum tensor introduced to each order is not unique. It is shown that the convergence to general relativity holds, even assuming the most general energymomentum tensor required by the iterative procedure to each order.
