A unified theory of emission by relativistic particles in crystals
Abstract
A quantum theory of electromagnetic radiation emitted by relativistic particles is developed with allowance for channeling and thermal vibrations of the crystal nuclei. A general formula for the emission probability is obtained by averaging over the initial and summation over the final particle and photon polarizations. Averaging over the crystal states of the nuclei is carried out in the presence and absence of phonon excitation.
