Presentation of Green function for rectangular waveguide as an infinite sum of tensor spherical waves
Abstract
Presentation of a tensor Green function for a rectangular waveguide in the form of an infinite sum of tensor spherical waves is obtained. Each summand of the sum corresponds to one of the mirror reflections of source points located in the cavity on the waveguide walls. The generalized Poisson summation formula is used for the derivation. The obtained presentation of Green function can be used for the solution of the inner boundaryvalue problem of electrodynamics in the case of rectangular waveguide with account of reflection from its walls.
