Boundary conditions for an electromagnetic field in the case of a rough interface
Abstract
The theory of multiple scattering is used to construct equivalent boundary conditions for the mean and fluctuating components of the electromagnetic field in the case of a rough interface of arbitrary shape separating two arbitrary inhomogeneous media. The eigenvalue shift under the effect of the boundary roughness is determined for an open cylindrical waveguide.
