A model of hadron structure
Abstract
The hadron is considered as a stringlike gluon drop with a quark and antiquark near the ends of the “string” for a meson and with the antiquark replaced by a diquark for a baryon. The softer “string” modes are the rotations and the longitudinal vibrations. Quantization of these modes enables to describe the hadron spectra.
