The dc electrical characteristics of the superconducting ceramic YBa2Cu3O(7-delta)
Abstract
New results are reported concerning the dependence of the resistance of the high-temperature superconductor YBa2Cu3O(7-delta) on the magnitude and frequency of the measurement current. It is shown that the presence of residual resistance in the specimens studied can be viewed as due to differences in Ic in the ac and dc cases; Ic decreases rapidly as the frequency of the current passing through the specimen increases.
