Atomic configurations of vacancies in high-temperature superconductors
Abstract
Computer simulations of point defects in high-temperature superconductors are being carried out in an effort to elucidate the nature of radiation defects in such materials. The method of molecular dynamics was used to determine the atomic configuration of copper vacancies in La(1.85)Ba(0.15)CuO4.
