The Josephson effect in granular superconductors
Abstract
The paper examines a model of a granular superconductor with scatter of transition currents delta Ic which is described by Josephson-junction type equations. Volt-ampere characteristics taking delta Ic into account are determined, and it is shown that Shapiro steps can be observed in a long but finite band, while magnetooscillations can be observed in an infinite band.
