A New Carbon-Symbiotic Star in the Large Magellanic Cloud
Abstract
While observing CH stars in the LMC for their kinematics, we have serendipitously discovered a symbiotic star whose late-type component is a carbon star. Only two such objects are known in the Galaxy and one in each of the LMC, SMC, and Draco.
