A Statistical Comparison of Antarctic Finds and Modern Falls: Mass Frequency Distributions and Relative Abundance by Type
Abstract
The paper considers the mass frequency distribution and relative compositional abundance statistics for four samples of meteoritic flux. These are modern falls, Antarctic finds, Allan Hills Main Icefield finds, and Yamato finds. Particular attention is given to a comparison between modern falls and Allan Hills Main Icefield finds. The main difference between the modern falls and Antarctic finds is the observed overabundance of Hs in Allan Hills Main Icefield finds.
